This is a great alternative to the “InstaPot” is the Crock Pot 6 quart multi use express cooker – Pressure Cooker, Slow Cook, Saute and Steamer. We own one, and love it.
The first dish we made in ours was “Butter Chicken” and it was suburb. Truly a one pot meal and easy clean up.
✔ BEST FEATURE for us is the Non-Stick Cooking Pot resists stuck-on food and is dishwasher safe, simplifying your cleanup.
Things We’ve Made
We’ve made pulled pork in about 90 minutes; Pot roast (3lb roast) that falls apart with your fork in 60 minutes and we’ve made it with potatoes and carrots and just by itself, all different types of rice in less than 20 minutes; pea soup in 15 minutes, and Chicken Tikka Masala in 20 minutes. This has changed the way we have made meals. If you plan ahead and make several meals over the weekend, you can split them up to have during the week and even freeze some for the future.
On the other hand, what seems to take the most time is the prep – gathering the ingredients, but once everything is in the pot it takes no time at all to have a meal prepared. Being able to brown meat and then close the lid and pressure cook it, saves on clean up too.
✔ The Crock-Pot brand, the leader in one-pot cooking, introduces the Express Crock Programmable Multi-Cooker, an all-in-one appliance that lets you Slow Cook, Pressure Cook, Brown and Sauté, or Steam.
✔ Eight one-touch digital meal settings include Meat/Stew, Beans/Chili, Rice/Risotto, Yogurt, Poultry, Dessert, Soup, and Multigrain.
✔ Designed with an airtight locking lid that stays sealed under pressure for added safety, a delay start timer that offers you the flexibility to start at a later time, and Warm setting to keep your food at the ideal serving temperature.
Worth a try
To sum up, if you don’t have a Multi-cooker with a pressure feature, it might be time to give it a try. Your food stays moist, tastes delicious and there a plenty of recipes that have been converted for the pressure cooker. In addition if you still enjoy the feature of a slow cooker that is still part of this system.
